Exhibition of Vietnam Week at AEON Supermarket in Japan in October 2018
From October 18th to October 21st, 2008, TVC MART is honoured to be one of the selected companies to showcase and introduce the goods in the exhibition week in Vietnam at AEON Mall Japan.
This is one of the outstanding activities in the series of events commemorating the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan (1973-2018).
Currently, Japan is the largest foreign investor in Vietnam with $ 9.1 billion and is a major trading partner with the total two-way trade turnover of $ 33.4 billion in 2017. In October, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and AEON Retail Group have exchanged and signed a memorandum of understanding to promote the export of Vietnamese goods through AEON’s global distribution network.
With the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding, AEON Retail Group Japan officially became a strategic partner in promoting economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
AEON Japanese supermarket also has the participation of some Vietnamese companies in the field of handbags, handicrafts, agricultural products, processed foods, tea, coffee … The exhibition is aimed at promoting and introducing brands and products to promote tourism, culture and cuisine of Vietnam to a large number of Japanese and Vietnamese people living in Japan. At the same time, the trade promotion between the two countries will be strengthened, in order to bring Vietnam's products directly into the distribution system of AEON Japan, there by boosting the export turnover of Vietnam to the market Japanese school.
AEON is currently the largest retailer in Japan and one of the top 10 retailers in the world. AEON manages and operates a variety of retail locations, from convenience stores, supermarkets to shopping malls and speciality stores. Therefore, business cooperation with AEON will help Vietnamese enterprises to have easy access to
businesses as well as Japanese consumers.
Attending the exhibition, the products displayed by TVC Mart such as handbags, decorative arts, looms … has attracted the attention and interest of many visitors.
Most of the customers admire the delicate beauty that the products bring. They are more excited and amazed when these refined products are made entirely of natural ingredients from environmentally friendly.
AEON Japan director general KAZUHIKO YASUKAWA said Japanese consumers are very interested in Vietnamese goods, so AEON Japan plans to import more Vietnamese goods to sell to domestic consumers… This is a great opportunity not only to help Vietnamese businesses promote economic cooperation, increase exports but also enhance good diplomatic relations between the two countries.
